Yoast SEO is a search engine optimization plugin created for WordPress sites. This plugin allows us to set custom titles and meta descriptions on each page of your website. The custom titles and meta descriptions are crawled by Google, which can then be seen when searching for your website (see below).
Aside from setting page titles and meta descriptions, Yoast also helps users set specific featured image thumbnails for URLs that are shared across social media platforms. They include a backend visualizer for each page, that allows you to see how your website will populate when searched for on Google. They also provide little tips and suggestions to help improve your SEO.
